So I haven't updated in a while and I don't really know why this is because now the play is over, I have a lot more time on my hands but anyway...

Break has started and I'm so happy!

I'm bringing my grades up! Things are starting to look up. These last couple weeks have been painful! The week right after the play is always impossible. First off, you have all this work that you've put off for the play and the weekend after the last saturday performance is when your expected to make it up. Of course when you factor in how much sleep someones lost and stress levels and all that other good stuff, when people get back from strike on sunday, usually they crash back at home and sleep. All in all, the two show weekends are the best two weekends in the entire school year so, I'm not complaining.

Players amazes me every year. Whoever came up with the idea for players should be seriously recognized. One of the biggest parts of players is the the general mix of people you'll find down in the rec. You have the Sets people who put so many hours in of designing, building of sets and props and all that other good stuff.

Then you have the cast who also put in countless hours for practice and memorizing of lines and learning blocking and all the other stuff that comes with becoming an actor.

I don't think theres anything else school related thats not academic where people put in this much time. Its the dedication that so many people have for players that makes the shows so amazing.

When I think about Mr. VR and Smith leaving, I worry about messing up this balanced system that they've built from the ground up. Come next year when the director(s) come in to take over, what worries me are the little things that won't be known to them. I know that the next year or two are going to be rough for players but I think that with the help of players boards guiding the new directors, it could go a lot more smoothly.

Today was thanksgiving and i loved every second of it. Spending time with old friends catching up on what's new and remembering old times can't be topped on my list of fun things. With sophie at TUFTS and till at PRATT it's really tough getting the whole group together. We did it two years ago and then again this year, spending thanksgiving in Deleware. So today we woke up late and just chilled, all of us... Eman Ian Allisa David Heidi Charles Sophie My mom Till Isabel and me..

The morning was slow because everyone was tired and thats exactly how I wanted it! Then we decided football on the beach would be fun so someone went out to buy a good football for the game. We played and the Gruenbergs' lost sadly but tried hard and had the game kept going, I believe we could have won! At the end of the game some of us decided what the hell, let's go for a dip, so we stripped to our boxers/bras panties and ran screaming with hands in the air into the cold waiting ocean! IT WAS COLD! Once in to about or necks or so we ran out as fast as possible, whole thing taking around 5 seconds.. haaha

It was amazing although the wind on your cold wet body isn't a pleasent feeling, I assure you!

The turkey was incredible thanks to my momma and others and basically, this day couldn't of been any better, or well... i duunnnooo but what i'm trying to say is it was fun!!

Arcade and Bowling = Awesome

Hannah Allie Dalglish Isabel and Me... Bowling and and the Arcade...
We started in the arcade because there were so many old men playing in these tourneys or something, not sure what you call them when it's bowling.
We played most of the games and our one goal was to get tickets, LOTS OF TICKETS!
Hannah set the bar very high from the start when she got 119 tickets out of this one game, it was beautiful to watch --> good times!
I believe at the end of our arcading, we had around 232, Allie knows the exact number, she's incredible, like a human calculator with numbers.
We wanted these tatoos and keychains and we had to have like 230 or something for them, so when we had enough tickets we went to the guy out at the bowling cash register and asked for our chosen prize and we were really bummed out when he said "We don't give prizes on Tuesdays!" Which is probably bullshit but we had nothing to prove him wrong with so we made a pact to come back soon for bowling and so we could redeem our amazing tatoos and keychains!

Now for the bowling, I would have done much better if I had the guard rails that keep the bowling ball from going into the gutters... I wasn't very good last night for some other reason, I remember from the time we went before that I was pretty good when I did it between my legs but that didn't even work last night :(

Of course, Kevin certainly didn't help at all! Kevin was the guy to our left that could make his bowling ball spin in someway so while it was going down it would sway from one side to the other hitting the pins perfectly everytime. And this bastard wouldn't give me any pointers...
LOL

Even though I came in last, It still was a lot of fun... And Allie's amazing "come back" is something I will never forget!

So on my 3rd day of having my blog, i totally forgot both my login and password for it and had to go through complicated steps to find out what they were. Most sites offer something to find out what your password is but not many offer a way to find out what your login is... Blogger does though (thank god, otherwise it would be pretty embarrasing)!!

On a more important note however, I'd like to touch on Chemistry. And how much I hate it and don't understand it. So we're doing "stoichiometry" right now and if naming different compounds was difficult for me, you can only imagine how hard this is... I personnaly believe if anyone should be blamed for this the finger should be pointed at DURAN PER KINS, aka the Perk-Daddy, The Perculator, DURAN DURAN, and the father of both Pascal Perkins and Sodium Nitrate Perkins!!
It's not that I don't like him, well, scratch that last sentence... It's more like he can't teach so he should quit and find another job. I'm almost failing chem so this is why I'm so upset! There is only one kid in our class who says stuff... shouldn't that be a sign to the teacher that everything isn't peachy keen????? AAHHHHHHHHH
